Ours are the two you would expect: one keeps you signed in, the other remembers which currency you wanted prices in. The live-chat widget sets a few of its own, and one of those is a six-month identifier we did not write. All of them are listed below. There is still no analytics and no advertising pixel.

Both are strictly necessary: without the first you would be signed out on every page, and without the second the site would forget your currency between visits. Rules in most countries do not require consent for cookies that only do that, which is why you have not been shown a banner.
If that ever changes, so does this page. The day an analytics tag or an advertising pixel is added, a consent banner goes up before it does, and this table gains a row.
The chat widget

The chat bubble is a third-party product, and it brings its own cookies with it. We have listed them here rather than mixing them in above, because they are not ours and one of them is not essential.

Two of these keep a single conversation working across tabs and pages, and disappear when you close the browser. The first one is different. It gives your browser an identifier that lasts six months so the chat provider can recognise you on a later visit, and it is set when the page loads rather than when you open the chat.
It is not analytics and it is not advertising, and nothing about you is sold or shared onward. But it is a persistent identifier from another company, so we are not going to file it under “nothing to consent to”.
You can remove it now. Clearing your site data deletes it, and blocking third-party cookies stops it being set at all. The only thing you lose is the chat remembering an earlier conversation.

These are not cookies and are never sent to us on their own, but people ask about them in the same breath, and answering only the narrow question would look like hiding the rest.

These live in your own browser’s local storage. Clearing your site data removes them, and the only cost is an empty basket and a lost brief draft.

- Cross-site tracking, retargeting or audience selling
- Session recording or heatmap tools
Most cookie policies are long because the site is doing a lot it would rather you did not read about. This one is short, and the one thing worth knowing is in it.
Turning them off.Every browser can block cookies in its settings. Blocking ours will not break the site, but you will be signed out on every page change and prices will go back to their default currency each time you arrive. Blocking third-party cookies stops the chat widget’s identifier without affecting anything else on the site.
